Veg Chops....mouthwatering snack...learned from my MIL....tempting isn't it?
Serves :- 4 person
Time:- 30 min
Ingredients:-
4 big potatoes( boiled n mashed properly)
Cornflour paste( binding consistency )
2 tspWhite pepper powder
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Cabbage,carrots, beans,spring onions,
Ginger garlic chillies paste
3 tbsp raechado (Portuguese red masala)
Oil for frying,
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Chopped green chillies,
Grated cheese
Butter/olive oil 1 tbsp
Bread crumbs/ semolina
Method:-
Take a pan ,add olive oil/ butter, add all the finely sliced veggies, salt pepper powder green chillies n Lil sugar.roast well,put off the flame add lemon juice a bit..let the mixture cool. In another bowl add mashed potatoes, salt n pepper powder n grated cheese,mix well to make soft like dough..
Now make small roundles of it n n press it on the palms brush it with raeshado masla and stuff 1 spoon mixture ...close it n give oval shapes...
Likewise make more.,.dip in the corn batter n roll over semolina or breadcrumbs.... N deep fry the chops..serve hot with Plain tomato sauce
