Flaky Chocolate Fudge Cake

Receipe:


1cup flour
1/4cup sugar
1/2cup brown sugar
1/2tsp baking soda
1tsp baking pd
3/4cup lassi
(1/2cup yogurt+1/2cup water)
1/3cup butter, melted n cooled
1egg
2 1/2tbsp cocoa

 
Grease pan 8" pan. Preheat oven at 180c.
Sift flour, baking pd and baking soda together.
Add lassi, butter, egg and cocoa. Mix well with a beater at the lowest speed possible and quickly pour into pan and bake at 200c for 25mins or till done.
Let it cool for 20mins.

 
Very carefully remove cake frm tin. It will be extrmely soft, so handle with care.
Dark Choc Ganache
Makes abt 1cup
1/2cup cream
250g dark/bittersweet/plain choc
Place choc n cream in a bowl over a double boiler and gently stir till choc has melted.
The mixture should be smooth and glossy.
Allow ganache to cool till spreadable or pouring consistency.

This cake is very very moist...need to handle very carefully...the center cream is not required in this cake but i always love to give a slight twist to the original receipe...so i carefully cut the cake into two halves and spread some whip cream at the center.
