Vanilla'n Lemon sponge cake ( in Zebra Pattern).....tried first time ...n turned out very good.....
Ingredients
Maida - 3/4 cup
Rava - 1/4 cup
Eggs 3 or Curd - 3/4 cup
Oil - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Baking powder - 3/4 teaspoon
Vanilla essence - 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon color
Lemon zest
Lemon juice 1/2 tsp

Sugar - 3/4 cup
Baking powder - 3/4 teaspoon
Vanilla essence - 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon color
Lemon zest
Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
Method
Mix rava, maida and baking powder and keep aside . Beat together the
eggs / curd , sugar and oil. Mix everything together except vanilla
essence
Now take two bowls and n pour equal portion of batter in each.
Add vanilla essence in first bowl n mix....add lemon zest ,lemon color n lemon juice in another mix it.....
Zebra pattern
First pour lemon batter 1 spoon in the tin and then vanilla batter and vice versa.....keep making layers one on one...but do not disturb the batter or try to spread..it will spread itself...
Bake on convection in a silicon mould at 180*C in the microwave for 15 mins or OTG for 15 mins at the same temp and finally bake the cake....when cake is done garnish the top with caramelized sugar...
