Piyush

Ingredients

2 cups Kesar Shrikhand(regular elaichi shrikhand also will do, only add a few strands of kesar to a little milk and keep aside for sometime till the colour of kesar sinks in , then add to the elaichi shrikhand)
3 cups thick buttermilk( you can blend curds also)
2 tbsp sugar( adjust to taste)
A pinch of nutmeg powder
A pinch of cardamom powder
Saffron strands ( optional)


Method


Combine shrikhand, buttermilk, sugar, cardamom, nutmeg in a bowl and whisk till smooth and sugar dissolves. Referigerate for atleast 11/2 hrs. Garnish with saffron and a pinch of nutmeg and cardamom.

NOTE: Readymade shrikhand is sweeter than the one made at home. So check the taste before adding sugar.
If using readymade shrikhand prefer kesar
