Paneer La jawab

Paneer La jawab😊😊😊....named by my daughter..


Ingredients:-

200 gm Paneer,½ cup magaj,5-6 cashews,½ tsp soaked khuskhus,2-3 cloves,kasuri methi,salt as per taste,2 bay leaf,oil as per requirement,fresh cream,fried cashews,4. Tbsp each finely chopped garlic and ginger,finely chopped 1 small onion,3-4.complete red tomatoes,Aamchur powder,turmeric powder,corriander powder,kashmiri chilli powder,nutmeg powder,garam masala powder ½ tsp each,1 tbsp sugar .


Method:-

First prepare basic white gravy for that wash clean magaj and boil with bay leaf ,cashews,cloves and salt...then drain out under cold water and grind adding soaked khuskhus to a fine paste.


Secondly blanch tomatoes and make fine puree.keep aside,
Now take a pan ,put oil and add cummin seeds half of ginger and onion,saute till it turns Lil brown...cool it n make fine paste.


In the kadhai put oil, add bay leaf,and half of the ginger garlic ,onion .saute well then add tomato puree,keep stirring ...then mix all spice powders mentioned above in Lil water and add to the kadhai....( a strong spicy aroma emitts)....then add onion paste mix and put over the lid...cook for 5 min. Then add kasuri methi (roasted n crushed),salt,sugar and white basic gravy ..keep stirring as it should not stick to the kadhai.... 

Finally add Paneer ( cut it in triangular shape). Mix properly ,put over lid and cook for 2 min. When done put off flame n garnish with fried cashews,corriander and pomegranate seeds......oooolaalaa...it taste awesome with plain paranthas...
