Mumbai Special Batata Wada

M sharing Mumbai special.....but my way of making this street food,..do relish it with cutting chai....
Mumbai Special Batata Wada /potato fritters in chickpea batter.. with kanda lahsun chutney..
One of the favourite snack of all


Ingredients:- 

Boiled n mash the potatoes,khada hing powdered,turmeric,curry leaves,green chilli,garlic crushed,urad dal,jeera ,mustard seeds,besan,salt oil for frying,chopped coriander,readymade kanda lahsun chutney,soda bi -carb,
Chopped onion and Lil lemon juice


Recipe- 

Boiled n mashed potatoes keep aside , take lil oil in pan, add mustard seed, cummin seeds,,hing, green chilli n crushed garlic, curry leaves,haldi, urad dal.make tadka n pour it on mashed potatoes,add salt as per taste,put chopped coriander.mix the mixture well n keep aside.

Meanwhile prepare the batter of besan ,salt, 1Tsp hot oil n soda bi carb,(keep the consistency medium...not so thick or so thin).let the batter set for 10 min. 
On the other side prepare the flat medium size roundles from potato mixture. 
Heat the oil in kadhi n dip the balls in besan batter n deep fry . remove on tissue paper .serve with kanda lahsun chutney with chopped onion,squized lemon juice n besan crisped on it... 

Enjoy the evening snack!. U can also serve these wadas by stuffing in pav's..now stuff it using tamarind chutney or green chatpata chutney ...u will definitely enjoy Mumbai taste
