Masala Pav (a quick fix evening snack)
Ingredients:
Fr the masala
1 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp cumin seeds (optional)
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp garlic paste
Red chilli powdr( as per individual taste.kashmiri or byadgi chilli powdr givs a nyc color)
1/4 tsp turmeric powdr
4 tsp Pav bhaji masala
(Adjust as pr taste)
Salt to taste
1/4cup vry finely chopd capsicum
1/2 cup vry finely chopd tomatoes
1 cup very finely chopd onions
1/2 tsp to 1 tsp dry mango powdr(adjust to taste as to hw tangy u wnt it)
Finely chopd coriAnder leaves
Other ing
4 tsp butter

Lemon wedges
Method
Heat a nonstick pan add oil add cumin seeds , wen dey splutter add onions saute til onions turn transluscent. Add garlic paste nd finely chopd capsicum then add turmeric nd red chilli powdr. Stir continuously add tomatoes , saute wel add butter nd salt nd pav bhaji masala nd dry mango powdr nd jst a littl watr to make the mix even. Cook fr about 8 to 10 min nd add finely chopd coriander leaves. Keep aside
Heat a nonstick tava add 1 tsp butter nd 1/4th of the masala nd saute on medium flame fr a few seconds . Slit the pav open nd place it on the masala. Spread the masala evenly over the pav til its evenly coatd. Add another tsp of butter nd cook the pav fr a few seconds.
Place the masala pav wid a lemon wedge nd serve immediately garnishd wid coriander leaves. For a richer taste top it wid cheese , tastes gr8 too.Repeat the same wid other pav.
Note: masala pav hs 2 b servd hot nd immediately else itl bcum soft. U cn prepar da masala before hand nd prepare masala pav jst b4 serving.
