Ingredients:-
100 gms firmly packed khoya 1Tsp refined flour or rava,
1/4 tsp baking soda,2 cups sugar, 2 cups water,
2Tsp milk,1 Tbsp milk powder, green cardamoms finely powdered, pure ghee,(I used home made ghee), cashews or badams...

Method:-
Mash the khoya, so that no grains remains.mix in the flour or rava, baking soda ,milk powder, n milk required while kneading....n knead it to a firm dough ,it should be pliable n shouldn't feel dry.
U can add more milk if required.. Shape the dough into marble size balls that are smooth and çreaseless.( u can shape it oblong too) ..,...now heat the kadhai add ghee...check with lil piece of dough....if a piece of dough tossed in comes up at once.. Then lower the flame now n fry the jamuns till golden brown all over.... Drain the jamuns out of the ghee n fry the next lot.keep the gulab jamuns aside till the syrup is ready....
Syrup:-
Mix the sugar and water and place over low heat, stirring till the sugar dissolves. Make sure it does not boil.n then increase the heat once the sugar is dissolved, n then bring mixture to a boil,......,cook till the syrup is thicken a bit.......now take a syrup off stove and cool for a minimum of half an hour, add cardamom powder n make Lil warm again.,.. Finally add the jamuns to it n put off the heat,let the jamuns soak for at least half an hour..... When its totally soaked n cooled then garnish with thinly sliced cashews or peeled badams over it.n serve........Yummy! Right?
